This $2000 donation will enrich the lives of children with Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis by sponsoring 2 students for the Camp Oasis summer camp and 2 for the Spring or Fall family camp program.

This $2500 grant will support the research efforts of FRAXA, an organization whose mission is to find effective treatments and a cure for all children and adults with Fragile X.

$1000 to provide support for a 25 year old young man, who is a quadriplegic as a result of a car accident, and his monkey Casey.

$3000 for the purchase of two kangaroo chairs which promote skin to skin bonding times with mommy or daddy while in the NICU.

$4000 for scholarships to be used to offer free field trips to community organizations who serve the most disadvantaged children and to Title 1 schools.

This $500 donation will be used toward scholarships to 15 deserving and outstanding students in Long Beach.

$1500 to assist with scholarships for economically disadvantaged Harbor-area children so that they can experience a private school education and achieve against the odds.

$1000 donation to Walk Like MADD to support MADD’s educational efforts regarding the dangers of drinking and driving.

Two $1000 scholarships to two students with great financial need. One is a high school graduate planning to study kinesiology and become a physical therapist and the other, a sophomore at Vanderbilt University, who wants to become a reconstructive surgeon and help burn victims and children with cleft palates.

This $1000 donation to N.A.P.D. is directed to the Community Based Programs and is to be used to enable young adults to attend local theater productions and/or sporting events as part of the N.A.P.D. program.

$1000 to support equipment needs of this news/educational show produced by Palos Verdes High School students. To educate peers, some shows have addressed the topic of drinking and driving.

The $1000 donation is directed to educational partnership programs which allow students from underserved areas to enjoy the Palos Verdes’ various preserves and natural open spaces, providing a one-of-a kind outdoor learning experience.

$1800 donation to fund one Leaps and Bounds teacher for a month. This is an early intervention program which addresses the therapeutic and developmental needs of young clients in a preschool setting and it was Whitney’s favorite volunteer activity.

$1500 to provide magic for supporters of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles.

$500 scholarships to four students pursuing a career in teaching or a field centered on children.

This $2000 grant will enable Sunshine Kids to add quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities.

$2000 grant will provide scholarships for this organization that provides free surf camps for children with autism.

This $650 donation will provide one educational field trip for 20 learning challenged students, provide a collection of books for the library and provide materials for the student enrichment program including life skills, building and music materials.

$2000 to purchase “Jester and Pharley” books and dolls, in memory of SWAT officer Randy Simmons, which will be used by the LA Police Dept. to assist officers when removing young children from their homes due to issues of abuse and domestic violence.

This $500 donation will be used to provide backpacks filled with school supplies, age appropriate books and a cuddly teddy bear to disadvantaged 1st graders.

$1000 to support Trinity KidsCare programs to enable children to live well and die gently.
