Aquarium of the PacificThis $10,000 grant will be split: $5,000 to support the Aquarium Scholarship Fund, as a matching donor to the “Field Trip Face” campaign, which raised $20,000 for student field trip scholarships, and $5,000 to support Ocean Science Education Program which includes the “Aquarium Live” initiative with 175 children’s hospitals.
 CHLA-Butterfly-Logo-2_300WYCF issued a $10,000 challenge grant to members of the Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital to donate money for the purchase of books for the “Literally Healing” program at CHLA, which provides new books for patients and siblings. PCCH exceeded the challenge, donating $13,000and WYCF gifted $13,000 for a total of $26,000.00
nationalcharityleagueThis $10,000 grant will fund 10 college scholarships: 3 for high school graduates and 7 continuing scholarships for college students, all of whom have demonstrated academic success and great financial need.
pediatrictherapynetworkThis $10,000 grant was used to sponsor Camp Escapades Summer 2019 so that children and families will continue to benefit from this program and volunteers’ career paths will be influenced by the opportunity to work and interact with these special children.
logo27This $10,000 grant will sponsor two kids who have been living with congenital limb loss or have suffered amputation from illness or injury, for a week long sports camp focused on the fundamentals of playing ball sports. Their coaches are USA Patriots who have suffered an amputation.

New Image Emergency Shelter for the Homeless, Inc.*This $5,000 grant will be used in the annual Children’s Christmas Store to provide a new pair of shoes and toys to children and grocery gift cards to homeless and low income families during the holidays.

This $5,000 grant is to be used primarily to assist with the continuation and expansion of the “Ready, Willing and Able” class for special needs students, as well as to provide class scholarships for needy students at the PVPA.

Harbor Interfaith ServicesThis $5,000 grant will be used by Harbor Interfaith Services to support children in the Children’s Center which provides care and education for ages 6 weeks to 17 years old and provides a safe haven for children of low income parents who are going to school or work.
lachallengeThis $5,000 grant will assist with scholarships for economically disadvantaged children from the greater Los Angeles area so that they can experience a private-school education . Donations fund tuition, supplies, tutoring and mentoring support with the goal of promoting educational achievement in an optimal school environment.
sunshinekidsThis $5,000 grant will enhance the quality of life for children with cancer by providing them with positive group experiences so that they can do what kids are supposed to do –have fun and celebrate life.
This $5,000 grant will fund vital research needed to find treatments for children living with KAT6A, a rare syndrome resulting from a mutation in the KAT6A gene.
This $5,000 grant supports the new
“Engaging Hearts and Minds” program that focuses on mental health-related strategies and includes a new “Teen Program” that teaches healthy coping skills and more authentic, face-to-face interaction.

This $2,500 donation to iTouchUp will be used to fulfill their mission to help former inmates (ages 16-24) by teaching them the basics of coding, programming and software design and helping them identify a career path.
