Aquarium of the Pacific

$5,000 to improve and enhance  the Aquarium’s connectivity and interaction with Mattel Children’s Hospital at UCLA so that children and families can experience the Aquarium of the Pacific from their hospital room.

Extreme sports Camp

This $2,500 grant is to be used to provide scholarships for children and young adults with autism and related disorders so that they can experience sports and athletics and reap all the benefits of teamwork, as well as personal growth and independence.

harborinterfaithservices This $5,000 grant is to support children’s services offered by Harbor Interfaith Services, Inc.  Specifically, the funds are directed to support and/or enrich the HIS Kids Club After School Program.

This $1,500 gift will provide ongoing support for a 28 year old young man, who is a quadriplegic as a result of a car accident, and his monkey helper, Kasey.

Long Beach Cancer League

This $5,000 grant is to support Camp Summersault Program and to sponsor children with cancer, ages 5-13, and their siblings for a week long summer day camp experience.


This $1,000 donation to Walk Like MADD will support educational efforts regarding the dangers of drinking and driving and serve the victims of this violent crime.


This $6,500 grant will fund 8 college scholarships:  3 for high school graduates and 5 continuing scholarships for college students, all of whom have demonstrated academic success and great financial need.


This $2,500 grant will be used to either provide college  scholarships for young adults with MS or to underwrite a day of fun and education at the Aquarium of the Pacific for families with a member who has MS.


This $2,000 grant is to be used to assist the Education Department with the continuation and expansion of the “Ready, Willing and Able” class for special need students or to provide class scholarships for needy students.


This $2,000 grant will be used to provide scholarships for CA children in Title 1 schools so that they can partake in the 3rd grade Naturalist Programs and other Conservancy school-based programs.


This $2,500 grant will help to fund this mobile clinic administered by Providence Little Company of Mary.  The Partner for Healthy Kids Mobile Pediatric Van provides health care and immunizations to uninsured children via weekly visits to 10 elementary schools in Hawthorne, San Pedro, Gardena and Wilmington.


This $5,000 grant is directed to core program support, such as programs like Leaps & Bounds,  which was so dear to Whitney’s heart.


This $2,000 grant will help to build a brighter future for the children at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles by supporting clinical and research advances in neurodevelopment pediatrics.


This $5,500 grant will  provide four scholarships at $1000 each and three at $500 each to deserving students who are pursuing a career in child development, teaching, and/or related fields involving children, as they complete studies at Mesa JC or transfer to a four year institution.


This $1,050 grant will be used to provide educational and clinical services for Switzer students, including art and music enrichment, educational activities and additions to the library.


This $2,500 grant will assist with scholarships for economically disadvantaged children from the greater Los Angeles area  so that they can experience a private-school education. Donations fund tuition, supplies, tutoring and mentoring support with the goal of promoting educational achievement in an optimal school environment.


This $3,000 grant will enhance the quality of life for children with cancer by providing them with positive group experiences so that they can do what kids are supposed to do–have fun and celebrate life.


This $1,000 grant will assist with mentoring support programs and special events for children of parents and siblings with cancer.
