This $10,000 grant will be split: $5000 to support the Aquarium Scholarship Fund, specifically covering Aquarium admission for approximately 500 students, education program fees, program evaluation, and project management costs, and $5000 to support the creation of four Aquarium stories, which will be added to the San Diego Zoo Global (SDZG) Partnership, a channel of programming for display in over 175 children’s hospitals around the country. |

WYCF issued a $10,000 challenge grant to members of the Peninsula Committee Children’s Hospital to donate money for the purchase of books for the “Literally Healing” program at CHLA, which provides new books for patients and siblings. PCCH exceeded the challenge, donating $12,892 and WYCF gifted $13,000 for a total of $25,892.00 |
